Kelly Sheehan: An American Artist

Kelly is an American artist specializing in glass.  She makes most of her glass using traditional hot glass techniques.  She also creates glass using kiln formed methods.  What she is best known for is her painted glass, the application of vitreous enamels.  While there are very few artists working with vitreous enamels, she is unique in that, with rare exception,  she creates the form that is painted.  Her process of concept to creation to her keen sense of color and design makes the finished product quite distinctive.
